On this page we have gathered some of the most frequently asked questions, as well as some key issues we feel that are worth sharing in the support section. Click on the headline to expand the FAQ.

Locate the Setup.exe file from the installation folder (c:\%program path%\NordGate\ro\Setup.exe). Right-click on it, open properties, Compatibility tab and check Run this program as an administrator box.

Change the resolution from the Setup settings and keep changing it until you find a working one.

You are using the wrong client.

Pre-Renewal, also called asiRO, has old maps and different items compared to the Renewal intRO. And for that, we need different clients and game files - hence two clients. Use CLASSIC for asiRO (Pre-Renewal) and RENEWAL for intRO. Otherwise you will have wrong maps, items and alike.

Please look for the server overview under the "Guide" menu item.

The patcher failed to update the client file for some reason. Close the patcher, locate ropro.dat file from the installation folder and delete it. Run the PlayRagnarok.exe again. If this doesn´t help, download the latest full installation package from our website, uninstall your game completely and reinstall from the new pack.

There is a 24h waiting period until you can delete the character after you set the character for the delete reservation queue. The password is the email address you used for the account registering.

If you wish to cancel the deletion, just press the "Cancel Reservation" button.

Also, in the lower left of the Setup, toggle the Engine: REG instead of the LUA.

For stats, you don´t. Plan your build ahead and stick to it.

The instant cast is set to 175 on all servers.

You will need to change your email address once approved though, as if you´re unable to get an email from us, you can´t change your password etc in the future - and we do require a working email for everyone for the system messages.
